Overview
We have continued to support our 7.x accounts since it was a very dependable release for Windows XP that has been used on millions for computers. However, we are now getting close to the next major release which requires all accounts to be upgraded to version 8.x.
What to Expect
We will setup your account to upgrade to the latest backup software and the update will happen automatically during your backup. We will also email you a notification to let you know your account is set to upgrade. There is nothing additional you need to do.
The first backup after the upgrade will take a little longer as the software captures additional security descriptors related to the files in your backup. After the first backup you will be back to quick and efficient daily backup.
After the upgrade you should check your backups set to ensure you are backing up all your data files.
