LiveVault pricing is based on the amount of protected data and the retention period you choose (how long and number of versions of your backups stored at the data center).  When comparing LiveVault to other services please be aware that many competitors charge for the total amount of all versions you backup which can often end up costing more than double the quoted price.  With LiveVault you only need to consider how much data you are protecting.  If you choose a folder with 10GB of data then your cost is 10 x rate.  Even though we maintain over 170 restore points (more with the longer retentions) your cost is always based on the protected data on your server and there is no need to manage file versions to avoid unexpected charges.

We have two pricing plans for LiveVault based on your needs:

Flex Pricing Plan

The Flex Plan is priced based on the total protected data per customer. You can install LiveVault on as many servers as you would like and can mix retention periods on the same or different server(s) by creating different backup policies. There is a minimum charge of $15 per server (i.e. if you have 2 servers you will be billed based on protected data times the rate with a $30 minimum charge)

Our LiveVault service includes options for 90 day, 1 year and 7 year retentions with pricing as follows:

SBP Plan

The SBP plan is charged per server and includes 250 GB of protected data. The retention period is fixed at 90 days. If you have multiple servers using SBP the total base level of protected data can be shared among those servers. For example, if you have 3 servers on the SBP plan you will have a total of 750 GB protected data in the base rate. That 750 GB can be allocated among the 3 servers in any proportion. If your total protected data exceed the base allocation it is charged at $0.50/GB per month.

SBP Plan (includes 250 GB protected data): $149.95/month

Protected data in excess of 250 GB: $0.50/GB
